I want to thank everyone who came out and supported the 5th Annual Brooklyn Salsa Congress.
First, I'll start by thanking God and my guardian angel for without their blessing and guiding light, I wouldn't have the strength, focus, energy, ability and sanity to pull together an event of this magnitude and make it such a successful event.
Second, are the people behind the scene, because without their help, this grand event wouldn't have been possible either.
Eric, Angel, Jose, Ray, Robert, Johnny Jamileth, Jason, Janelle, Jessenia, Liz, Karina, Yesenia, Kamille, Valerie, Caitlin, Alexus, Jeremy, Aloma, Amanda, Erica, Luis B, Luis M, Lissette, Rosie, Glissy, Ceci, Elvis, Rene, Muneca.
Third, are the competition and event sponsors, as well as the team directors, the performers and DJ's who kept everyone entertained and dancing all night.
Fourth, I would like to thank and congratulate the competition winners:
Brianna and Jeremy for Friday night and Elvis and Melanie for Saturday night
I thank them and all the other competitors for participating and making the competition so much fun and of course, the audience and everyone as a whole for filling up the venue with electric and exciting energy both nights.
Friday night had the smoothest showcase I had seen in a while, every performance was amazing and carried everyone to a dancing frenzy til 3am.
Saturday night shows were great from beginning to end, it was a long but exciting line-up and I appreciate everyone's patience and support for the dancers throughout the night.
Lastly, I thank all my friends who came down from other states and other boroughs to celebrate my birthday with me on Friday and kept the party going on Saturday.
Thank you, everyone from the bottom of my heart for coming out and making my birthday weekend a grand event and the congress a great success! Once again, I thank everyone for their support and look forward to seeing you all at our winter wonderland event on Dec. 17th and at the 6th annual Brooklyn Salsa Congress, Oct 19 and 20, 2012
Much love and appreciation,
Ms. Arelis Beato., Pres./Dir.
